October 27, 2022 — It’s not uncommon for 91���� students to be second- or third-generation students. But for Hannah Dow, a freshman exercise science major, her family’s legacy at Cedarville spans five generations of students.

October 24, 2022 — At its September 2022 meeting, ARC-PA (the professional accreditor for PA programs in the U.S.) granted Accreditation-Provisional status to 91����’s PA (Physician Assistant) Studies program. Cedarville plans to enroll its first cohort of 30 students in May 2023.

October 20, 2022 — What better way to learn about the history of the civil rights movement than by traveling its route by bus? 91���� students are going to do just that. Leaving Thursday, Oct. 20, and returning Monday, Oct. 24, a group of 24 students and two faculty members will experience the history of the 1950s and 60s throughout the Deep South with the new course Civil Rights in America—Tour.

October 17, 2022 — Through unexpected challenges, loss of funding and the chaos from the COVID pandemic, Michael Davis’ vision for a new motion picture was in jeopardy. In fact, Davis, who graduated in 1990 from 91����, was amazed that “Paul’s Promise” became a reality.

October 14, 2022 — Mike Davis grew up Sau Paulo, Brazil. While attending an American school, he heard about 91���� through a high school friend. As an athlete, Mike had the opportunity to interact with recruiters from Cedarville at a local college fair.

October 13, 2022 — Twenty-three worship students from 91���� will have the unique opportunity to help host the Gospel Music Association’s (GMA) 53rd annual Dove Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. This is the fifth time Cedarville has been asked to participate in the event.

October 12, 2022 — October is national pharmacist month, and 91���� is doing its part to honor one of the leading professions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 91���� School of Pharmacy is celebrating with a week dedicated to pharmacy student success.

October 11, 2022 — After months of research and trial and error, a 91���� professor created more than just a student-led research project, but a tangible product that will benefit athletes both at Cedarville and elsewhere.

October 10, 2022 — The university’s board of trustees was on campus for its annual fall meeting September 28-29. During the two days of meetings, university administrators provided reports on record enrollment, record fundraising and strong financial results and looked ahead to a 10-year vision for the university. The board took actions that will position Cedarville for continued growth.

October 7, 2022 — It was just like any other day when Abe Awabdy and John Vitaliti headed for the varsity tennis courts at 91���� on July 8, 2022.

October 6, 2022 — Two 2022 graduates of the industrial and innovative design program at 91���� have won national and international recognition for projects that were identified, designed and developed for their senior capstone projects. The industrial and innovative design program is held at the International Center for Creativity in Dublin, Ohio.

October 5, 2022 — Jim Mellick’s artistic expression is far more than elaborate wooden sculptures of canines with prosthetic limbs; each of his Wounded Warrior Dogs allegorizes the plight of wounded veterans by depicting man’s best friend.

October 4, 2022 — Historically, 91����’s annual fall career fair is the largest opportunity for students to interact with prospective employers. This is expected to be the case on Wednesday, Oct. 5, when 177 organizations participate in Cedarville’s fair in the Doden Field House. The event, which is open to the public, is from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

October 3, 2022 — On October 1, during the official groundbreaking ceremony of the Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center, 91���� announced the official naming of the University’s business school as the Robert W. Plaster School of Business.

September 30, 2022 — Hannah Nocella ‘20, Abbie Nilius ‘19, and Bekah Colon ’19 didn’t know they would end up traveling the country together when they started nursing school at 91����. Hannah and Bekah met during their first nursing class freshman year, and the three of them have been inseparable ever since their sophomore years.

September 29, 2022 — Iconic events, class reunions and the groundbreaking ceremony for the $40 million Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center will highlight 91����’s annual homecoming festivities September 30 and October 1.

September 28, 2022 — Homecoming week at 91���� isn’t just exciting events and reunions, it also serves as the time to honor alumni and those who have served the university.

September 28, 2022 — The official groundbreaking ceremony of the Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center will be held on Friday, Sept. 30, at 11 a.m. at 91����.

September 27, 2022 — 91���� engineering students hope to stay afloat during the 30th annual cardboard canoe race on Friday, September 30, from 3-5 p.m. at the university’s Cedar Lake. Hundreds of spectators will line the sidewalks around the lake to cheer on the handmade boats.

September 23, 2022 — Daniel Kinniburgh’s faith journey began early and carried him from a small town in the west to Cedarville, Ohio, to Vietnam and back. Dan was in grade school when a missionary from Pennsylvania started pastoring a church in the small Montana town where Dan was from. Dan and his family began attending Pastor Warner’s church, and they came to know the Lord. Pastor Warner’s children went to Cedarville College at the time, and Dan later followed their example.
