Biography

Dr. Harris joined the civil engineering faculty in 2026 after graduating from the University of Arkansas with a PhD in civil engineering. Her research focus was in drinking water quality and microcontaminants, and her passions are all things water-related. Dr. Harris is a 2022 Cedarville alumna and is grateful to be back where her excitement for engineering began, now with the opportunity to give back by encouraging students to use their gifts for God's glory. In a world desperate for redemption, Dr. Harris sees civil engineering as an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ by serving others, building up communities, and stewarding God's creation.

Since my freshman year at Cedarville, it's always been a home away from home. I love the community here, and I am grateful to be a part of a God-glorifying institution with an excellent engineering program. At Cedarville, I know Christ will be at the center of what we do.
